"Jen is an extraordinarily talented doula. As first-time parents, we wanted an experienced, evidence-based doula who knew what questions we should be asking. Jen came to every conversation prepared with ideas, resources, and curiosity. She helped us discuss our goals and work through other birthing situations we might encounter. All of this preparation paid off since our daughter’s birth had several unexpected twists and turns. In the days prior to our induction (since our daughter came over 2 weeks late), she connected us with prenatal massage and chiropractic professionals to help with our baby’s positioning, and also led us through several exercises to invite baby into the optimal position for birth. She coached us through early labor, effortlessly remembering details about our preferences and priorities. The transition to her backup doula for active labor was seamless and stress-free. "My partner and I had the most amazing experience working with Jen! I went into my pregnancy really wanting a VBAC. After unforeseen pregnancy complications, I need to shift my plan and have a repeat Cesarean for the safety of my baby. Jen was so supportive and reached out regularly to make sure I was okay.
